Introduction
The guardian angels of Sovereign God are spiritual beings, acting as a special messenger of the LORD towards the children of God.
Each of the human race has designated guardian angels specially assigned for them–it’s one of the multitude unique gifts from a Supreme God. Even before we were just preliminarily inside the womb of our tender-hearted mother to date– we antecedently have our own kindly guardian angels around.
Why are there guardian angels amongst us, amongst our business and our family? Why are they innovatively created by God Almighty and the universe? What are their intent promethean purpose?
It is vital to note however that it is the “POWER OF THE MESSAGE of God”– not the image of the messengers of God as they are just an instrument of the Sovereign GOD.
We will rationally discuss and evaluate things regarding guardian angels of the Sovereign God.

7 Amazing Attributes and Purpose of guardian angels of Sovereign G
1.Guide and help
So subsequently they can guide and help the children of God. We see in the bible how Majestic God protect his children by sending guardian angels, like the prophet Elijah on Mount Sinai. During the time Elijah was destitute to pass out from physical life, there was an angel of God who came officially and helped him.
Whilst he was restfully sleeping, the angel woke him up and sustainably feed him. Two times Elijah fell asleep and two times the angel woke and feed him. Naturally man can’t sustain life without food and water for days, how much more for more than a month like in the case of Elijah.
However, because of the angel sent by God– Elijah was well again, his energy and reflex was promptly regained, and God Almighty talked to Elijah (verses 9-18), there was furious wind and earthquake, after which he resumed serving the LORD Almighty. (1 Kings 19:3-18)
Elijah on Mount Sinai 1Kings 19:5-9
5 He lay down under the tree and fell asleep. Suddenly an angel touched him and said, “Wake up and eat.: 6 He looked around and saw a loaf of bread and a jar of water near his head. He ate and drank, and lay down again.
7 The LORD’s angel returned and woke him up a second time, saying, “Get up and eat, or the trip will be too much for you.”8 Elijah got up, ate and drank, and the food gave him enough strength to walk forty days to Sinai, the Holy Mountain. There he went into a cave to spend the night. Suddenly the LORD spoke to him “Elijah, what are you doing here?”
2. To strengthen emotional state and courage
An angel was sent by God to Paul to strengthen his emotional state and courage amidst the danger at the sea. True to what Paul have said, they have shipwreck, but nobody died.
And true to what Paul have said after the shipwreck they run to safety to the island of Malta (Acts 27-25-26). Acts 28: 4-6 A snake came on Paul’s hand while he was gathering sticks, so people badly said Paul was a murderer and they were waiting for him to fall and be dead. But God amazingly rescued Paul– after the people was waiting for a long time not seeing bad happening to Paul at all, they changed their minds about Paul and see he is not bad.
Afterwards t’was here in Malta island that Paul healed the sick father of the island’s chieftain. After which when the islanders have known this, all the sick people went to Paul, and they were all healed by God through Paul. We see here two things– how God will protect his children and uses situations into a fruitful one when sick people in the island were healed after paul prayed to God for healing.
The Storm at Sea Acts 27: 21-26
21 After everyone had gone a long time without food, Paul stood before them and said, you should have listened to me and have not sailed from Crete; then we would have avoided all this damage and loss. 22 But now I beg you, take courage! Not one of you will lose your life; only the ship will be lost.
23 For last night an angel of the God to whom I belong and whom I worship came to me 24 and said, “Don’t be afraid, Paul! You must stand before the Emperor. And God in his goodness to you has spared the lives of all those who are sailing with you. 25 So take courage, men! For I trust in God that it will be just as I was told. But we will be driven ashore to some island.”
3. Intermediary for God
Angels are intermediary for God, to send a “vital message” from the LORD Most High. Angel means a messenger of God Almighty. They colossally appear to mankind to give the vital message from the LORD El Roi who sees everything from up above in His throne.
Angel Gabriel and the other angels appeared to man in a countless way to give message from God. 1st was when he visited Daniel to explain to Daniele his usual visions of “end times” from Daniel chapters 7 to 12.
2nd was Luke 1:11-13
Angel Gabriel said to Zechariah the birth of John the Baptist– who will prepare the way for the coming of Lord Jesus and likewise who baptized the Israelites and Christians who have accepted the LORD Jesus Christ. Hebrew prophet Zechariahs prophesies to deliver messages from the LORD to the Jewish remnant community from exile from Babylon during the reign of Darius in 587 BC. John the Baptist– well-loved by God was a Judean-Jewish preacher of God active in the Jordan River and forerunner of the LORD Jesus dating the 1st century.
3rd was Luke 1:26-37.
The most vital message from God for all mankind came– The birth of Jesus our Lord and Savior is announced. Angel Gabriel appeared to Mary to tell the good news that God will used her so that our Lord Jesus will be borne by her here on this earth. The KING of Kings, the true King of the whole universe entered our temporal world in the humblest of places to shed blood for salvation of mankind. This birth of the LORD Jesus happened under the ruler of the Roman empire Caesar Augustus
4. Spiritual military commanding generals
Angels’ act as a spiritual military commanding generals and special troops of God to fight for the spiritual warfare, against the forces of bad or wicked. The Holy Bible said there is a spiritual hostile war between the good and the bad. Because of God’s bounding love for mankind, the angels are spiritually fighting for this for us the human race.
What is mankind that the Sovereign God would take to such colossal measures for us? There are spiritual wars relating to supernatural phenomena that we dont see any visual pictures as humans and that there are angels of the Sovereign God spiritually fighting for us in our behalf because we are humans and henceforth incapable to take action and defend ourselves and our family— that’s why God intervenes for us.
Angels of God Almighty are spiritually fighting in our behalf, so we won’t be astray and afar from the LORD.
Ephesians 6: 11-12
11 Put on all the armor that God gives you, so that you will be able to stand up against the Devil’s evil tricks. 12 For we are not fighting against human beings but against the wicked spiritual forces in the heavenly world, the rulers, authorities, and cosmic powers of this dark age.
Ephesians 6:17-18 17And accept salvation as a helmet, and the word of God as the sword which the Spirit gives you. 18 Do all this in prayer, asking for God’s help. Pray on every occasion, as the Spirit leads. For this reason keep alert and never give up; pray always for all God’s people.
5. Angels singing praise and glorifying God.
God created angels and angels are praising and glorifying God Almighty in heaven on the throne of the Sovereign LORD.
Luke 2:13-14
13 Suddenly a great army of heaven’s angels appeared with the angel, singing praises to God: 14 “Glory to God in the highest heaven, and peace on earth to those with whom he is pleased!”
Hebrews 1:6 When satan was still in heaven– he used to be an angel, during the time he was not yet thrown away by God from heaven to earth. He was a worship leader. But because of his rebel attitude and he wants to be praised also and amour propre pride he was hurled away from heaven to earth along with the 1/3 of the faulty angels who was lured by him.
6. Angels has an integral part when the end times comes.
God will use his angels on the Apocalypse, the time of the prophesied end of the world, the battle of the Armageddon. The time of the final conclusive battle between the forces of the good (Lord Jesus and his angels) and the evil one (satan and his lured nations)–the Battle of the Armageddon.
There are not just a few angels of God but a multitude of them– thousands, millions and millions are they. Revelations 5:11-12 11Again I looked, and I heard angels, thousands and millions of them! They stood around the throne, the four living creatures, and the elders, 12 and sang in a loud voice: “The Lamb who was killed is worthy to receive power, wealth, wisdom, and strength, honor, glory and praise!”
Matthew 24:22 Unless those days had been cut short, no life would have been saved; but for the sake of the elect those days will be cut short
The Battle of the Armageddon. Revelations 16:14-17
14 They are the spirits of demons that perform miracles. These three spirits go out to all the kings of the world, to bring them together for the battle on the great Day of Almighty God.
7. To keep watch over Israel
Angels are sent by God to keep watch over Israel. Angels are sent by God as a special protector and defender of the nation of Israel– God’s chosen. Angel Michael, the head of all angels was assigned at the nation of Israel. He defensively watches, alert and guard after Israel.
Daniel 10: 18-21
18Once more he took hold of me, and I felt stronger. 19 He said, ” God loves you, so dont let anything worry you or frighten you.” When he had said this, I felt even stronger and said. “Sir, tell me what you have to say. You have made me feel better.”
20-21 He said, “Do you know why I came to you? It is to reveal to you what is written in the Book of Truth. Now I have to go back and fight the guardian angel of Persia. After that the angel of Greece will appear. There is no one to help me except Michael, Israel’s guardian angel. Daniel 11:1-2 He is responsible for helping and defending me. And what I am now going to tell you is true.”
There is a guardian angel assigned to each of us human race. Daniel 12:1
Each of us has guardian angels assigned to us.
Angels are taking care of us wherever we may go. And aside from the angels, we are with Sovereign God, he is beside us. So, we must not be afraid at all. (Psalm 91:9-11) 9 You have made the LORD your defender, the Most High your protector, 10 and so no disaster will strike you, no violence will come near your home. 11 God will put his angels in charge of you to protect you wherever you go.
Angels of God Hebrews 1:14
14 What are the angels, then? They are spirits who serve the Sovereign God and are sent by Him to help those who are to receive salvation.
When we pray God sometimes answers us through his angels, our guardian angels. And the angel sent by God explained to Daniel his vision of the “end times”. It says so in Daniel 10: 11-12. 11 The angel said to me, “Daniel God loves you. Stand up and listen carefully to what I am going to say. I have been sent to you. “When he had said this, I stood up, still trembling. 12Then he said, “Daniel, don’t be afraid. God has heard your prayers ever since the first day you decided to humble yourself in order to gain understanding. I have come in answer to your prayer.
