People are far beyond amazed why Israel is God’s chosen Nation amongst the multitude. What makes them exceedingly distinguishable in the eyes of God the Most High, making them essentially “God’s chosen one?”

From the Old Testament to the New Testament, to date—God has distinctly manifested how great is His unequivocal love for humanity and for Israel being known as God’s chosen people. There are measurable periods wherein Israel brings off to progressively commits sin, yet God continually keeps forgiving the nation for time immemorial, whereupon Israel remembers to call on God.

All throughout the history of Israel, they have been at war with other nations and yet Israel has amazingly gained gigantic victories from victories in the battlefield from Moses till King David’s time and even to date. Because Thats how A Mighty Supreme God will surpassingly love and protect His children, both the Israelites and the Gentiles. Sovereign God has been with them from the ancient Egypt to the Land of Promise and to date till eternity.

Why is Israel God’s chosen nation all these years? How did they become God’s chosen nation amongst the multitude? And why anybody can be loved by God?

Geography of Israel

Israel is a country in Western Asia and located southeastern of the Mediterranean Sea with Jerusalem as its capital with a 9,344,090 population. Hebrew flourishes as the language in the kingdoms of Israel and Judah.

Israel is exactly 20,770 square kilometers and has a comparatively little dimension in population, whilst the Philippines is 300,000 square kilometers. Making it as big as just the Central Luzon Region, approximately 13th times of PH. Although it is relatively undersized yet remains an extremely strong nation, having great resources and a very powerful nation, strikingly superior of its kind. Israel’s economic miracle is beyond unsurpassed.

Even how small a country is, it is not a measurement of either you are an efficient, powerful nation or not. Even if you are a small nation, it doesn’t mean that you can’t effectively level up with other bigger powerful countries. Google Chairman said Israel has the most important high-tech center in the entire world after the US. They are popular in terms of inventions and innovations. The country is known worldwide as a Startup Nation.

Henceforth, what is the super-secret of Israel? Israel is among the top 8 most powerful country in the globe and the top 10 richest amongst the globe simply because it is not a corrupt country, and to top it all, it is backed up by a Holy God and that’s for eternity.

How powerful is Israel? Why, despite how small a nation is Israel, it remains strong and powerful as ever.

4 Areas That Show How Powerful Israel Is

1. Military

Israel has already won a multitude of battle and wars throughout history. Israel always wins despite that it is a small nation. In 1967, in the 6 day war, Israel won versus Syria, Jordan and Egypt. We can always see how Israel is so strong in battlefield and wars. Because their equipment and weapons are powerful. They made their own weapons in their own country, and they have very advanced technologies.

That’s why they always win wars. They have modern tanks, modern Airforce, new nuclear weapons that can really win any wars. They have a powerful air defense system. They even have the powerhouse iron dome designed to destroy rockets and missiles on air before it enters the country that will prevent neighboring countries from attacking it. That’s how powerful and strong Israel is with their military forces.

2. Science and Technology

Ranked top 5 among the world’s most innovative country in the Bloomberg Innovation Index. They converted their land of desserts to green lands, agriculture, and farmland. Almost 70% of their lands are dessert but they can successfully plant trees and veggies. Because of their science and technology, they don’t have difficulty producing food in their country.

They also have a low water supply because they have dry lands, but they were able to find solutions. They converted their salt sea into the Mediterranean Sea to potable drinking water. They are leading in desalination or converting salt sea water to drinking water. They get their drinking tap water from the sea waters conversion.

Israel is home to 140 scientists per 10,000 employees. Israel is home to 8,337 full-time equivalent researchers per million inhabitants. They excel in research, education, thus, they always invent things. Many big humanitarian countries are supporting Israel like the USA and other countries.

Philippines are always praying for Israel, and Philippines has offered asylum for 1,300 Jews that run away from Nazi in Europe during the time of President Elpidio Quirino. It is solely the kind of Philippines among the Asian countries who have helped them.

That is why we Filipinos are not required to provide visas when entering the country of Israel, a grant solely provided for us. Because of our good relations with Israel, we Filipinos can easily enter as tourists or workers in Israel.

3. Strong Tourism

Israel is a nation of immense natural beauty and world-class culture. The tourism industry is one of Israel’s topmost sources of income, with 3.6 million -up tourists in 2017, and had 4.5 million tourist entries in 2019, the largest number ever. The average cost of a 1day tour in Israel in $100. It is increasing annually by 25 to 35% providing NIS 20 billion to the business economy of Israel from Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Nazareth, Dead Sea, Galilee, Jordan River, Tel Aviv, Western Wall, Mahane Yehuda Market, Mt Sinai, Mount of Olives, Mt Zion, Temple of Mount, the city of King David, etc.

Why? Because of God.

In bible verse Isaiah 25:7 it says, “Yes, many people and strong nations shall come to seek the LORD of hosts in Jerusalem, and to pray before the LORD.”

4. God’s backing

God, amongst all, is the reason—the great strength and superpower of Israel.

Israel has become so powerful because of God’s help and God’s love for Israel. Have it not been for a protecting God, Israel would have been gone on the world map. It cannot sustain all on its own. But we can see that God’s favor is in Israel. God has been using other countries to protect and to take care of the country of Israel.

And above all, we know Israel will have a gigantic role in the end times. That’s why Israel will stand forever. That’s why Israel won’t be easily erased in the world because God is their strong tower.

Just as Israel is powerful because of the LORD, you two can be braver than you believe and loved by a Mighty God more than you know.

Let’s discuss why in the ancient times to date our Amazing God Has Been Majestically Protecting Israel and its 3 sufficient grounds.

Why is Israel God’s Chosen? 3 Sufficient Grounds

1. Because of God’s lasting covenant to Abraham and his descendants Isaac, Jacob, the 12 Tribes, Moses, King David to King Solomon to date. God came to deeply love Abraham, the father of all nations, and named by the Lord because He was obedient to God. Hence God’s love for Abraham and Moses extends to the 4th generation and the next future generations. Through the covenant of God for Abraham, he and his descendants are promised the blessings of the everlasting gospel and the blessing of dwelling in the presence of a Sovereign God.

It says in Genesis 17: 3-7

3 Abram bowed down with his face touching the ground, and God said,

4 I make this covenant with you: I promise that you will be the ancestor of many nations.

5 Your name will no longer be Abram, but Abraham, because I am making you the ancestor of many nations.

6 I will give you many descendants, and some of them will be kings. You will have so many descendants that they will become nations.

7 I will keep my promise to you and to your descendants in future generations as an everlasting covenant. I will be your God and the God of your descendants.

2. God will bless a nation or a family, or anybody that loves Him till the 4th generation and beyond. When you give your life to Christ, an abundant blessing explodes in your life–“showing love to a thousand generations of those who love God and keep His commandments.” That’s a beautiful promised from a Sovereign LORD.

God’s Own People

It says in Deuteronomy 7: 7-10

7 The LORD did not love you and choose you because you outnumbered other peoples; you were the smallest nation on earth.

8 But the LORD loved you and wanted to keep the promise that he made to your ancestors. That is why he saved you by his great might and set you free from slavery to the king of Egypt.

9 Remember that the LORD your God is the only God and that he is faithful. He will keep his covenant and show his constant love to a thousand generations of those who love him and obey his commands,

10 but he will not hesitate to punish those who hate him.

3. Almost 97% of what has happened in the Holy Bible was in Israel. It is here in Israel where Jesus was born 2,000 years ago, Jesus preaches, Jesus died and was Resurrected, and it is here where in the end times Jesus will come down from heaven with his multitude of angels and people on the battle of the Armageddon and be in his kingdom come for eternity. We are heirs to the glorious destiny.

Those beautiful promises of God are for all of God’s people, the true Israel of God comprising the Jews and the Gentiles, who are united by the blood of Jesus to Christ by faith alone.

It says in Jeremiah 31: 33-34

33 The new covenant that I will make with the people of Israel will be this: I will put my law within them and write it in their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people.

34 None of them will have to teach a neighbor to know the LORD, because all will know me, from the least to the greatest. I will forgive their sins and I will no longer remember their wrongs. I, the LORD, have spoken.

Christ Jesus is the True Living God and the true embodiment of Israel. Jesus is the true Israel, and the church becomes the Israel of God—both from the Israelites to the Gentiles as it unites us to True Israel, our LORD Jesus.
