Friendly Essential Reminders for the Upcoming Election Day

  1. Wear your facemasks. You may opt to wear double face masks on this mass gathering of people. I would occasionally do this when in a crowd. It’s indeed a nice tip my dearest elder sister has passed on to me. It works for us. Hah, the amazing perks of having an adept well-seasoned elder siblings, makes life much easier on the household tips, baking tips, or even getting a task well done.
  2. Maintain distance. Please obey the social distancing protocol which is at least one (1) meter away.
  3. Bring water and snacks. Put your drinking water, a clean hanky, tissue paper, fan and a handy dandy disinfectant or hand sanitizer (or a Green Cross rubbing alcohol) inside your bag. You may likewise want to bring a small bunch of Skyflakes or any biscuit just in case your stomach groans. Now you’ve finally discovered what’s inside the bag of ladies.
  4. Come early and check your assigned precinct number at the friendly help desk officers. Have your temperature checked at the entrance.
  5. Bring your list. Make way for the other voters waiting in queues by bringing a list of your preferred political candidates that you want to vote so you don’t need to stay longer.
  6. Read instructions. Carefully read the instructions on your ballot. Simply shade on your ballot before the name of your preferred candidate like what you’re doing in a multiple-choice tests. But here you just shade on your ballot. Put your ballot at the Vote Counting Machine and get your Voter’s Receipt.
  7. Be extra nice at the people out there from the volunteers to the help desk officers. Assist the elderly and the moms with children.

Helpful Biblical Verses

1.”But select capable men from all the people— men who fear God, trustworthy men who hate dishonest gain—and appoint them as officials over thousands, hundreds, fifties and tens.” (Exodus 18: 21.)

Honest leaders are greatly rewarded. There are some bad politicians in today’s world, yet there are also a few good ones. And these are the good leaders who stands out because they uphold what is right, fair, honest and just specially to the faintheartedly weak who cannot defend themselves and thus rewarded immensely for doing the right thing by our Almighty God.

2. “Therefore I exhort first that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior. (1 Timothy 2: 1-3)

Leaders needs prayers too. Likewise, leaders are human beings like you. So we are commanded to include our leaders in our daily prayers when we pray for our kids, family, best friends and boss or employer—this is pleasing to the LORD our God, the KING of all Kings. the LORD of all Lords., the Alpha and Omega. Its of utmost significance, an essential task for us Christian citizens of the world to pray and wish well to all the leaders in your nation.
